Men, do you avoid going to get a massage because you fear you will get an ********?
AcousticDrEams** asked:
I’m interested in massage therapy and have heard that middle aged business men (the ones who probably could benefit the most from a massage) avoid getting a massage because of the fear of getting an ********. Is this true? If not, why do men avoid getting a massage?

By the way, I’m not talking about an Asian massage parlor. Just a regular massage place.

For me it would depend on who the masseuse was. If it was a dude.. well then I probably wouldn’t get an ******** unless I was thinking about something ****. But if it was a middle aged woman or something I would be more embaraced than if she was very attractive. In that case I would just ask for a happy ending!

No…it’s going to happen anyway and very well expected.

Yes..I get them and I’m 58..they feel good and helps circulation…No I don’t get a ********..because I know how to control it…and they don’t go in area’s that will make things go up…they work on the back, arms and legs…good question..why do men avoid massage…

I welcome an ******** because it is inevitable. Those people are just afraid of embarrassing themselves. It’s natural and there is nothing to be afraid about.

I do better than that. I go once a month for a deluxe pedicure. While the procedure is being done - the chair the customer sits in has a full motorized massager all along the back. Punch the button on that remote & that sucker does a terrific job of getting all the kinks out of your back & shoulders & spine while you get a pedicure. When it’s all over you feel like you’re walking on a cloud & no more aches & pains. It’s the only way to fly!

the towel or sheet/bed covering is covering the patient, slim chances of an ******** being seen. The times when on your back it’s also hidden.

This is true. I happens to me all the time.

A few years ago I was having pain in my testicles, I went to the doctor and he had me go get some tests done. One of the tests involved a lovely lady giving my nuts a complete feel up ( for lumps I guess ). I was so embarrassed when I got a woody. She explained to me that she gets that a lot and sometimes she’ll suggest to leave the room so the men can relieve themselves, I opted against that.So she put a thick book on it, which helped ( I guess because of the weight )

Yes its true that men are avoid massage because of *********. This is due to various factors like, the attractiveness of the massage therapist, the reaction to touch, and the state of mind before and during the massage session.
If however this isn’t the case, then it may be attributed to time constraints, health reasons or plain old stubbornness
